OMG…
We played our first real match in the ClanBase OpenCup Fall 2006 (won the first one by forfeit) this evening and we lost. I have absolutely no idea what happened.
Everything was perfect when playing as T on Dust2. Our tacs were perfectly executed, our aim was great and TeamGNU had no chance at all. The first half ended 12-3 to us. But then, after the change of teams, everything went wrong. The setup was exactly as it had been so many times before, our opponents were mentally crushed after the first 15 rounds and we were ready to take them out again.
But NOTING went as planned. We were totally run over every single round. And after 15 rounds of pain the second half ended 2-13, resulting in a final score of 14-16.
I can’t recall a match were we played so lousy as CT’s on D2, but done is done and we just have to start preparing for the next match, which we HAVE to win.
